For the Czech food manufacturer Olma, SSI Schäfer planned and implemented a new automated high bay warehouse. The overall system was implemented completely with proven Scchäfer components such as storage and retrieval machines, conveyor system, and the high-performance warehouse management system "ant".

This allowed the implementation of the project within a record time of only eleven months.

Thanks to the special knowledge and experience of SSI Schäfer with similar projects, efficient storage processes with the simultaneous safeguarding of hygiene standards according to the Hazard-Critical-Control-Point (HACCP)-concept as well as the temperature-controlled handling of goods could be achieved.

Contrary to the previous trend in the Czech Republic to entrust local contractors with such projects, this time the German company SSI Schäfer was awarded the contract. This underlines the company´s market leadership in terms of competence and quality as well as the justified confidence in German quality products.
