In only four months SSI Schäfer has completed the implementation of the service centre "Zur Rose Pharma Gmbh" in Halle.

The new conveying and picking system has been implemented to allow for an efficient delivery of pharmaceutical products with order transmisison via the Internet at a reduced cost. Thanks to the fast moving picking automate (S-Pemat) and the Parallel Picking System (PPS), it is possible to deliver orders directly to the customers´ home within only two days.

Furthermore, SSI Schäfer has installed the whole technological equipment for the picking workstations, the area containing products not suitable for automatic picing and refrigerated products, as well as a downstream workstation for bulky items picking and consolidation.
